SMSGate
An SMS gateway with a native Android app, a customer dashboard and SaaS administration.

The context.
The project connects applications to Android phones with a SIM card. It brings API access, device configuration and service management together in one product.
My part
in the project.
I developed the Go backend with PostgreSQL, the API, background processing and message status tracking.
I built a native Android app in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to connect the phone, manage permissions and display device status.
I created the customer and administration dashboards with React and Material UI: phone configuration, API integration and account management.
I set up service delivery through GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD on Kubernetes, along with APK distribution from the website.

Behind
the product.
The Go server integrates the API, background workers and frontend assets. PostgreSQL stores the state of operations.
The Android app uses Jetpack Compose, Room and WorkManager. Configuration covers the phone’s SIM cards, system permissions and service recovery.
The customer and administrator dashboards have separate sessions and actions. The frontend retains server-side permission checks.
The dashboard screenshots use a demonstration account. They do not show customer communications or data.
The product brings together an API, two web dashboards with separate functions and a downloadable Android app. The case study shows the setup process and service management tools.
